Cold Process Bar Soap

Cold process soap is handmade by combining oils with lye (sodium hydroxide) through a saponification process. Unlike commercial soaps that often remove glycerin and add synthetic detergents, our cold process method retains all the natural glycerin produced during saponification. Our soaps undergo a 4-6 week curing period, resulting in a mild, moisturizing, and skin-friendly bar that's naturally beneficial for your skin.

With proper care, our bar soaps typically last 3-4 weeks with daily use. To extend the life of your soap, always use a soap dish that allows water to drain away and keeps the bar dry between uses. Store unused bars in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Yes! Our cold process bar soaps are formulated with sensitive skin in mind. We use a thoughtfully balanced blend of five nourishing base oils: castor oil (for moisture retention), olive oil (rich in antioxidants), sustainable palm oil (for bar hardness), coconut oil (for cleansing lather), and sweet almond oil (containing vitamins A, E, and B). Additionally, we use only clean fragrances that are phthalate-free and exclude all ingredients listed in California's Proposition 65, making them free from carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, and acute toxins.

We color our soaps exclusively with natural mica powders, which provide vibrant, shimmering hues without synthetic dyes. These natural colorants give each bar a beautiful artisan appearance while being gentle on skin. For fragrance, we use only Clean Scents™ that are phthalate-free and exclude all harmful chemicals. This ensures our fragrances don't contain carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, or acute toxins, making them safe for the entire family while still delivering amazing scents that our customers love.
