Our Story

It all started in 2019 with a simple “what if?”

Justin was building an emergency preparedness kit in our garage, and I (Christina) couldn’t stop thinking: What if we actually had to live in the wilderness? I have ADD, I love researching things to death, and I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to making stuff from scratch. So I disappeared down a rabbit hole of soap-making videos, lye safety sheets, and scent blending at 2 a.m.

A few months (and many messy kitchen experiments) later, I nailed my very first cold-process soap recipe. We made a batch for ourselves… then another for my niece’s bridal shower. The feedback was ridiculous. People were hugging us, asking for more, and texting weeks later saying their skin had never felt better.

That’s when Justin looked at me and said, “We should probably sell this.”

From day one, my rule was simple: make the best natural products with the best ingredients… but price them so every family can actually afford them. No gatekeeping clean, safe, feel-good stuff.

So we did what any slightly crazy couple would do — we signed up for our first craft fair. I stayed up late making soaps and bath bombs. My dad built us wooden displays. Justin (the Bear) handled the sales and charm while I (the Wild) hid behind the table pretending not to be nervous. Just would joke with everyone he talked to “She’s the Wild, I’m the Bear.” It stuck.

Year after year we kept showing up — adding lotion bars, car fresheners that actually smell like a mountain breeze, room sprays, and beard care that our husbands actually use. Word spread. Orders grew. And somewhere along the way, our best friends Tom and Shay jumped in with us. They’re the perfect Ying to our Yang — Shay keeps me organized and on track, Tom keeps the website and tech from exploding. Now the four of us get to work (and laugh) together every day doing what we love.

Today, every bar, spray, and balm that leaves our shop is still made with the same care we started with in our kitchen. Real ingredients. No junk. Affordable enough that you don’t have to choose between “natural” and “Can I actually pay my rent.”

We’re just a regular Utah family who turned a wilderness daydream into something real — and we’d be honored if you joined the pack.
