It started with a simple what if
In 2019, Justin was building an emergency preparedness kit in the garage when Christina started wondering what life in the wilderness would really require. Christina loves research, making things from scratch, and getting the details right, so she went deep into soap making, lye safety, and scent blending.
After months of kitchen experiments, she finished her first cold-process soap recipe. A batch made for a niece's bridal shower brought requests for more. Justin looked at Christina and said, "We should probably sell this."
The first craft fair
The Wild and the Bear
Their first craft fair made the name stick. Christina stayed up late making soap and bath bombs. Her dad built the wooden displays. Justin handled the conversation at the table, telling customers, "She's the Wild, I'm the Bear." People remembered it, and Wild Bear Market was born.
From the beginning, the rule was simple: use clean ingredients, make products with care, and price them for everyday families.
Built with family and friends
What began with soap grew one customer request at a time. Lotion bars, car fresheners, room sprays, beard care, bath products, and more.
Along the way, Christina and Justin's best friends, Tom and Shay, joined the business. Shay brings organization and steady follow-through. Tom keeps the website and technology moving. Today, the four friends work together to make Wild Bear Market useful, welcoming, and true to the way it began.
